As with any environment that is in a workplace is no different and hygiene is an important factor to protect against various germs and diseases. In a work environment, many people congregate, which increases the possibility of contact with potential germs. Therefore, it is important that the area is hygiene and regular cleaning. 
Many companies have dedicated cleaners who work almost every night to keep the workplace clean and safe for employees. Tasks include cleaning work surfaces, monitors and keyboards in an office. This usually includes various cleaning products and other chemicals to kill germs in the areas that employees are in regular contact with. Another task to be designated, is to vacuum the floors, which will remove particles of dirt and dust from the workplace, leaving an acceptable level of hygiene. 
Another area that should be kept clean and tidy on a daily basis is the kitchen area. Due to a close, the kitchen can get dirty for the duration of the day, so what needs to be cleaned daily. With drinks and foods that are prepared regularly, the occasional spill is inevitable and must be cleaned to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. 


The bathroom is another area where it is vital to maintain clean and meet hygiene standards. You need to be inspected daily to ensure that these standards are met for employee safety. Sinks, urinals and toilet cubicles should be cleaned regularly to avoid spreading germs. There must be enough soap dispensers for employees to use before hand washing sink. Also not to be towels or hand dryers workers to use later. In addition, there must be sanitary bins in the ladies room of the removal of these items. 
There are several companies that are willing to provide these services, because it is usually inefficient for a company to address these issues at home and hire a specialized company is generally cheaper. These problems tend to fall under the purview of the health and safety, and there are rules and guidelines that each company must comply. If a company is to set aside these problems, which can be reported and face consequences such as occupational health is seen as a serious problem.
